02What each one means
- ARN: the AMFI Registration Number that every mutual fund distributor must hold. Fund houses pay commission only against a valid ARN.
- EUIN: the Employee Unique Identification Number of the person who discusses mutual funds with you.
- Authorised Person: a stock exchange registration that lets us introduce clients to Motilal Oswal Financial Services Ltd., the stockbroker. Your trading and demat account is with Motilal Oswal, not with us.
03How to check them
- An ARN can be looked up on the AMFI website.
- An Authorised Person can be looked up on the NSE, BSE and MCX websites, and on Motilal Oswal's own list of Authorised Persons.
- Motilal Oswal publishes its own registrations on motilaloswal.com.
